Amoxicillin and Clavulanate combination is used for the treatment of bacterial infections that persist in different parts of the body. This antibiotic belongs to the group of medications called as penicillins and beta-lactamase inhibitors. It interferes with the bacterial growth and prevents spread of infection. However, this medicine does not work for cold, flu or other virus infections.

Precautions

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have previously experienced any unusual allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medications or any other types of allergies such as to foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals.

Contraindications

Use of this medication is contraindicated if anyone has hypersensitivity to Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid Injection, penicillin and history of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.

Side effects

Seek medical attention if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty in breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat, easy bruising or bleeding, diarrhea, pale or yellowed skin, dark colored urine, skin rash, bruising, severe tingling, numbness, pain, muscle weakness, fever, confusion or weakness.

Gentamicin:

Indications :
